Indoor Christmas Lights
Though the convention has been established and practiced for many, many decades now, there’s no real reason why Christmas lights can only exist on the outside of your home. Though it does tell your neighbors that you’re invested in the season and brimming with holiday spirit, it’s not really about them, or it shouldn’t be anyways. It’s about you, your family and the pleasure that this time of year brings you. So, allow me, if I may be so bold, to propose an alternative: perhaps it might be a nice, festive change of pace to decorate the inside of your home as well, or simply just the inside of your home.
Unless you’re putting up Christmas lights in August, there’s just no way you aren’t going to be freezing you’re a** off up on that ladder. And, though it may be exactly what you want, which is absolutely fine, if that doesn’t sound too appealing, then you can spare yourself the potential frostbite and decorate your home’s interior this holiday season. Consider the elements inside your house that resemble, in shape and general make up, those exterior features that you are typically inclined to decorate. Hand railings, bookshelves or mantles might make a good starting point, but use your imagination and go nuts with it. Illuminate the inside of your home just like the inside of your heart this Christmas!
